Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud was warmly welcomed in Tripoli, the capital of Libya, where he paid an official visit to strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
The president and his delegation were welcomed by the senior officials of the Libyan government at the airport in Tripoli, and he thanked the government and the people of the country for their commitment to strengthen the traditional relationship with Somalia.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, while in Tripoli, will have a meeting with the leader of the Supreme Council of the country, Mr. Mohamed Al-Manfi, where they will discuss the situation in the region and the mutual interests between the two countries.
Also, the two Presidents are talking about the development of cooperation in the fields of security, politics, combating migration and the completion of the return of Somali youth who are facing difficult conditions in the country’s prisons.
