The Somali Parliament’s House of Representatives held its regular meeting, which was chaired by Speaker Aden Madoobe and his deputies, and was attended by most of the members of the House of Representatives today at Villa Hargeisa in Mogadishu.
The MPs, who have reviewed the Somali Youth Justice Bill submitted by the Somali Ministry of Justice, have today voted to pass the bill.
About 139 members of the Somali Parliament approved the bill, while 2 members opposed it, and no member remained silent, according to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aden Madoobe.
Somali Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs Hassan Moalim thanked the parliamentarians for passing the bill submitted by the ministry.
