What did PM Hamsa and President Guelleh discussed ?

The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Barre, held an important meeting with the President of Republic of Djibouti, Mr. Ismail Omar Guelleh where they discussed security, political, economic issues, the situation in the region, and ways to further strengthen cooperation and relationship of the both countries.

Prime Minister Hamsa confirmed that his government has achieved significant achievements during its term in office in the areas of development, security, economy, politics, and state-building in the country, underlining that these achievements were achieved through cooperation and collaboration among various government agencies.

Mr Hamse thanked the government of Djibouti for their support and stressed the importance of strategic cooperation between Somalia and Djibouti. He praised the important role of President Ismail Omar Guelleh in peace and reconciliation in the region, especially among the Somali people wherever they are.

For his part, the President of the Republic of Djibouti, His Excellency Ismail Omar Guelleh, indicated that the government and people of Djibouti continue to support and stand by the Somali government, highlighting their efforts to ensure peace, security and stability in the country.
