The US military command confirmed with the help of the Federal Government of Somalia that they carried out shelling in areas southeast of Boosaso, Puntland.
A strong airstrikes was heard last night in the middle of the Baallade stream, red flames were seen in the sky, after the U.S. Army AFRICOM launched an air attack on targets hidden by an important leader and his militia.
“This airstrikes shows the commitment of the Federal Government of Somalia and AFRICOM to prevent the threat of ISIS, and will continue to ” said in AFRICOM.
Also, Africom confirmed that the areas bombed was checked, and no public was harmed.
