Commemorations are underway in Turkey, marking two years after the earthquake that killed more than 50,000 people.
The earthquake struck southern Turkey in the early hours of the morning, destroying buildings where people were sleeping.
Two years later, an estimated half a million people are still living in makeshift shelters, which are similar to containers. Others are living in tents, or buildings that have been severely damaged.
Opposition politicians have criticized President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for failing to fulfill his election promises to build new homes.
