United States President Donald Trump was officially extended his second term yesterday, becoming the 47th president of the United States.

Trump’s inauguration ceremony was attended by former US presidents, famous people such as Elon Musk, and Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Tim Cook, Sundar Pichai and former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Among the leaders who appeared at Trump’s inauguration were the President of Argentina, Javier Milei, and the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni.

In his speech after the swearing in, he talked about many issues about what he will do in the first days of his new administration.

He announced the beginning of an “exciting new era of national achievement” as “waves of change sweep the country,” according to parts of his inauguration speech.

The executive order is the first step in what Trump called “a complete restoration of America and common sense.”
Due to cold weather, the inauguration was moved inside the Capitol Rotunda – for the first time in 40 years.

At the Capitol, Vice President JD Vance was first sworn in by Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Trump followed suit moments later, using two Bibles, one owned by his family and the one sworn in by President Abraham Lincoln in 1861, and sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts.
