US President Donald Trump recently issued a warning to Israel in a tweet on his social media account Truth. He said that it should not carry out the strike.
The US President said in his tweet: “Israel. Do not carry out the strike, if you do it will be a great violation. RETURN YOUR PILOTS NOW!”
The warning follows a ceasefire agreed between Iran and Israel, which took effect early this morning. The agreement was brokered by the United States and Qatar.
