A fatal accident occurred after a collision between a truck and a luxury car, today at the Bari checkpoint in the town of Gibiley in Somaliland.
It was confirmed that two people, the driver and a female passenger, were killed.
Somaliland Police and fire brigade personnel quickly arrived at the scene of the accident and removed the bodies of the two people from the wrecked Vitiz.
The bodies of the two people were taken to Gibiley General Hospital, according to witnesses.
Elsewhere, the police arrested the driver of the truck involved in the accident and took him to the Gibiley police station for questioning.
