Security has been tightened in some parts of Kenya, especially around the country’s parliament, as the country’s president, William Ruto is expected to address the nation today, and police forces are tightening the security in the area.
The country’s police have warned against demonstrations in the country, saying that the people who organized the demonstrations did not inform the various government officials.
Recently Social activists have been organizing protests online to demand the resignation of the country’s president, William Ruto.
Ruto is facing growing political controversy over corruption, money-based politics and human rights abuses.
On the other hand ,Human rights groups have accused the Kenyan security forces of kidnapping, forced arrests, torture and targeted killings of people who took part in anti-government protests in June, which were opposed to additional taxes.
