The US-China trade war may be on hold, as the world’s two largest economies begin talks in Switzerland.
Top trade officials from both sides will meet for their first high-level meeting since US President Donald Trump imposed tariffs on China in January.
Beijing reacted quickly, and the issue has led to a sharp standoff between the two countries, with each side imposing tariffs on the other.
The new US tariffs on Chinese imports are up to 145%, and some US exports to China face tariffs of up to 125%.
There have been tense, sometimes heated weeks, with each side trying to portray the other as desperate.
