The Speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Abdi Hashi Abdullahi, returned to the country today, after attending the 18th meeting of the Parliamentary Chairmen of the East African Economic Cooperation (𝐄𝐀𝐂) in Nairobi.
The chairman who gave a speech at the meeting said that the joining of Somalia in the East African Economic Cooperation Regional Organization is of great importance for the Organization and our country, as Somalia has a lot of natural resources, rich land and a vibrant and with entrepreneurial spirit, ability and resilience in various business situations.
Also, Governor Abdi Hashi said that this union is a good example for all the governments of the African continent to unite and benefit from the resources of their lands, and cooperate in matters of security ,economic and social development of the peoples of the African continent.
