The Governor of Banadir Region who is also the Mayor of Mogadishu Mr. Yusuf Hussein Jimale (Madaale) held a meeting with the Interim Committee of the two Houses of federal government Parliament in charge of preparing the rules for the elections, the Associations, the JFS Parties, the Law on the establishment of the Election Commission and the borders of the country.
The administration of Banadir Region has shared with the committee of the two houses of the Parliament suggestions related to the Draft Law on the National Elections Act before the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
The chairman of the committee, MP Mahdi Mohamed Guled and other members of the committee thanked the Banadir regional administration for making recommendations on the electoral law, promising to consider it.
