Hashim Dhaghane Muhumed, who is accused of murdering a Somali family that consisted of three Somali girls, will remain in police custody for 21 days, while investigations will continue.
The suspect was brought before the Makadara court in Nairobi yesterday, where the criminal investigation department requested to extend the period he will be in prison, until the completion of his investigation.
They also requested to be given more time to investigate the case of the three girls who were killed and bodies were found in different places.
Hashim is currently detained at the Ruaka police station in Kenya. Last October, the three women from the same family were killed in Nairobi.
Kenya DCI arrested the accused after investigations they conducted while he was hiding in a place in Kamukunji Nairobi.
