The Council of Ministers of the Government of the Federal Republic of Somalia approved the proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations to appoint two of the ambassadors representing Somalia in the world.
Ambassadors appointed are, Mr. Abdihakin Mohamed Ahmed (Dhobo-Dareed) and Mr. Yusuf Ahmed Jego.
The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre, and was also approved in the National Procedure Policy for the reporting and monitoring of human rights, which gives special importance to the protection and development of human rights in Somalia.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers was also presented with a detailed report related to the acceleration of the National Transformation Plan (NTP), which supports the development of the state system and the development of the country’s economy.
Also, the Ministries of Internal Security and Defense gave the council reports on the security situation and efforts to stabilize the country against Al-Shabaab, while strengthening the plans to secure security and eliminate so-called Terrorism.
