The Commander of the Federal Government Security Forces in Gedo accused Kenya for participating in the on-going fight in Baled Hawa.

Abdirashid Janan, Commander of the Federal Government Security Forces in Gedo Region has accused the Kenyan government for supporting Jubaland forces who fought on the outskirts of Balad hawo.

Also the commander said that Kenya has received the wounded soldiers of the Jubbaland forces they fought with and are treating them in Mandera, which he said is not a good action.

“You see the trenches dug by the enemy, they were dug by a tractor from Kenya. We cannot accept that a tractor from another country is brought in to dig a defense for the enemy. We want Kenya to hand over the vehicles painted with the Somali logo, and respect the neighborhood,” said NISA Commander in Gedo Region, Abdirashid Hassan Abdinur (Janan).

On the other side , heavy losses were incurred in this morning fighting, and the Gedo Regional Police Commander on the Jubbaland side, Hussein Ali Hashi (Hussein Giif), who was well-known in the region, was injured later died.

Also the Federal government’s Gedo Police Commander, Aden Mohamed Siyaad Dhafoorey, was reportedly injured in the heavy fighting that took place this morning and is expected to be transfer to Mogadishu.
