The Cabinet of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia held their regular meeting today, appointing a committee to investigate the relationship between the accused Ahmed Madobe and the Khawarij groups, after the attack on a base of the National Army in Raskambooni area.
The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism, Abdirahman Sheikh Yusuf (Al-Adalah), who reported on the contents of the meeting, said that the council strongly condemned the attack by Ahmed Madobe on the Armed Forces, describing it as a deplorable action and said that there will be consequences and accountability.
“Many areas where Al Shabab are present have passed through the forces that attacked that place which is dangerous, and it reinforces the suspicion that the suspect Ahmed Madobe has a relationship with Al Shabab,” said Minister Al-Adalah.
