At least seven police officers were seriously injured in an explosion with a car, which took place on the road between Aresa and Khalalia in the Mandera East district, during the Gadudia-Laga area, at 1am last night.
The car which was heading to the city left Bambo area, which exploded with a land-based mine (IED) that rusulted in serious injuries to the soldiers, with their car totaly damaged.
The injured soldiers were rushed to the hospital while there is ongoing search to caught Al Shabab Militia.
Also in Wajir Al Shabab attacked Qarsa area where environmental commander (Senior Chief) Adow Ali and his uncle Noor Gathuf were killed, according to the interview of The Star.
