Mogadishu, 05 May 2025 – The President of the SSC-Khaatumo state of Somalia, Mr. Abdikadir Ahmed Aw-Cali, held an important meeting this evening with the Acting Speaker of the House of the People and Second Deputy Speaker, Hon. MP Abdullahi Omar Abshirow.
Also present at the meeting were the Second Deputy Speaker of the Upper House, Senator Abdullahi Ali Hirsi ‘Timacadde’, along with Members of Parliament from both legislative chambers.
The discussion focused on strengthening the relationship between the Federal Parliament and the SSC-Khaatumo, and the national importance of intergovernmental cooperation between the legislative branches at both levels.
The SSC-Khaatumo leader extended his sincere gratitude for the visit and praised the Acting Speaker for his honorable role in advancing national legislation and the democratic legal framework of the country.
