The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, H.E. Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madobe), has returned to Mogadishu today after leading a delegation to Algiers, the capital of Algeria, where they participated in the Arab Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference.
Upon arrival at Aden Adde International Airport, the Speaker and his delegation received a warm welcome from several Members of Parliament from both Houses of the Federal Parliament of Somalia.
During the conference in Algiers, the Speaker engaged in discussions focused on strengthening legislative cooperation, enhancing inter-Arab relations, and the critical role of parliaments in promoting regional stability and development.
The visit is considered a significant step in reinforcing Somalia’s diplomatic and parliamentary ties with fellow Arab nations, particularly in the area of legislative exchange and mutual cooperation.
