Somaliland President Abdi Rahman Cirro, in a speech to the parliament, discussed several issues concerning the general situation of his administration.
The President mentioned the historic visit of Prime Minister Hamzeh to Lascaanood, where he was warmly welcomed.
The visit of the Prime Minister of the Somalia Republic to Sool was a blatant invasion and could lead to immediate civil war. We will not give up on the territorial integrity of Somaliland,” he said in his speech.
President Ciro said that he would like to inform the members of the international community that Somaliland will continue its efforts for peace, brotherhood and good neighborliness, but will defend itself against any aggression.
