The Somalia State Minister of Defence, Hon. Omar Ali Abdi, attended a ceremony marking the completion of the construction and refurbishment of the General Dhagabadan Training Camp, implemented under the Somali National Army (SNA) III Project and funded by the European Peace Facility (EPF).
The event was attended by the EU Ambassador to Somalia, Amb. Francesca Di Mauro, senior officers from the SNAF, MoD, representatives from UNOPS, and delegations from the European Union.
During the ceremony, the Ministry of Defence also received a consignment of military equipment aimed at supporting training and operational activities of the Somali National Armed Forces, part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the capacity and professionalism of armed forces.
