The Cabinet of Ministers of the Government of Somalia, which held its weekly meeting, passed the Budget Allocation Act 2026 and a Memorandum of Understanding between the Governments of Somalia and Uganda, which is about cooperation in migration, and a Memorandum of Understanding between the Governments of Somalia and Qatar, regarding cooperation in security issues and fighting crime.
The meeting of the Council of Ministers chaired by the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hamsa Abdi Barre, was presented with reports related to the security and defense of the country, while the council praised the achievements of the armed forces in the war against Al Shabab.
