The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamze Abdi Barre, chaired the meeting of the Sub-Committee of the Council of Ministers on Inclusive Politics, which was discussed on the acceleration of support for the Election and the completion of the Constitution.
The meeting was presented with efforts to implement the election and how the Government should play its role in making the country hold a free and fair election, giving Somali citizens their constitutional right to vote and be elected.
Prime Minister Hamzeh, instructed the members of the Council of Ministers in the Subcommittee on All Politics, to speed up their role in the implementation and facilitation of the things that are needed, so that the election will be effective, with an emphasis on public awareness , to get a full understanding of the importance of the citizen to cast his vote freely.
Also, the meeting was presented with reports related to the completion of the revision of the Constitution, chapters 5 to 9, and the preparation of the National Transformation Plan (NTP), which is nearing completion.
