The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Barre, received in his office the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Somalia, Mr. Ahmed Bin Mohamed Al-Mawlid, and discussed strengthening cooperative relations between the two countries.
The Prime Minister thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the support and assistance it has always provided to the Somali government and people, especially in matters of aid, security, investment, and the development of the country’s economic infrastructure.
Ambassador Ahmed Al-Mawlid stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia should play a major role in developing key infrastructure, and in eliminating Khawarij groups from the country, so that the Somali people can achieve meaningful progress.
