President Hassan Sheikh welcomed Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed at Aden Adde airport. The delegation of the Prime Minister of Ethiopia was escorted to the Presidency, where the Presidents of the two countries will hold bilateral talks.
Before landing the plane carrying Prime Minister Abiy, mortars were heard falling in the area of the airport, which the security agencies did not release any news.
The city’s security has been tightened, many roads have been closed, and domestic and some foreign flights have been suspended, except for Turkish Airlines and Ethiopian Airlines.
Prime Minister Abiy’s visit to Mogadishu is coming, as recently President Hassan Sheikh has visited Addis Ababa twice, where the two officials held talks to finalize the Ankara agreement.
