Somalia President to travel to Egypt for bilateral relations.

The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, is scheduled to travel to Egypt today to have talks with his counterpart, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Both president talks will focus on security issues, especially the operations of the AUSSOM Force in Egypt .

On the side ,President Al-Sisi will brief his counterpart Hassan Sheikh on the progress of the military deployment process and how to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

Also the leaders will discuss the difficult situation in the Horn of Africa, especially the tension between Ethiopia and Eritrea renewled conflicts.

The meeting of Somalia and Egypt comes at a time when tensions in the region have risen, after Ethiopia completed the Nile Dam, a move that is opposed by Sudan and Egypt.
