The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, attended a prestigious dinner hosted by the President of the United States, Mr. Donald Trump, and the First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump.
As is customary in the United States, when the annual United Nations General Assembly is over, the President in office at that time holds a dinner meeting for the various officials of the visiting country.
The President of Somalia took advantage of this important meeting to strengthen diplomatic relations between Somalia and the United States, as the two countries discussed several issues related to security, development and international cooperation.
The leaders who participated in the United Nations meeting will return to their countries after the dinner meeting that concludes the session and take a photo with the President of the United States.
