H.E. President HassanSMohamud inaugurated the new headquarters of the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
In his remarks, the President lauded the project as a testament to the Government’s efforts to strengthen institutional infrastructure and implement prudent resource management to enhance service delivery.
The President also reaffirmed the government’s resolve to combat the extremists that perpetuate violence against Somali civilians and seek to destroy religious institutions.
He further stated, “Anyone who renounces the misguided ideology of terrorism will be welcomed back and afforded the [same] rights and dignity as other Somali citizens.”
