The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, arrived in Haawaay, Middle Shabelle region, leading a large delegation from the federal government, where he was welcomed the President of Hirshabelle State, Ali Guudlawe Hussein, and other officials.
The purpose of this visit is to establish major development projects including an international airport, a new port, and a satellite center that are set to enhance connectivity between the region and the rest of the country.
Also the President is set to met the national army forces together with the local forces in order to organise the war against Al Shabab.
