President Hassan Sheikh held a consultative meeting with civil society organizations (CSOs) representatives at Villa Somalia Presidential Palace as part of prepations for the national dialogue scheduled for June 15, 2025.
During the meeting, the President emphasized the critical role of citizens in shaping Somalia’s democratic future and reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to advancing inclusive politics and participatory democratic process.
“If we want Somalia to move forward, we must move away from where we have been for so long. Democratizing the country is a key pillar of governance, and we must give the Somali people a full opportunity to participate in determining their own destiny.” said the President.
