Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud officially announced today the date for a consultation meeting for politicians and community leaders.
The president said the meeting will be held in Mogadishu on the 15th of this month.
The forum will focuse on issues that are essential for state-building in the country, including: security and the elimination of terrorism, democratization and elections, the completion of the constitution, national unity, and reconciliation among the Somali people.
This comes at a time the opposition leaders, held conference in Mogadishu, issued several statements, some of which call for and condemn the government of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
