President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud participated in the opening session of the 34th Arab League Summit in Baghdad, Republic of Iraq.
In his address, the President highlighted the Federal Government of Somalia’s progress in rebuilding state institutions, enhancing security, and combating international terrorism.
He reaffirmed the Somali people’s unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people in the face of ongoing aggression.
The President also reiterated Somalia’s support for the unity, sovereignty, and statehood of Sudan, urging “all parties to preserve the cohesion of the Sudanese people and ensure the country’s stability.”
