Somalia PM chaired the National Consultation Forum on its 2nd day.

The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamsa Abdi Barre, who chaired National Consultation Forum which is on-going for the second day.

The Prime Minister reported on Government’s policy in the areas of unity, security, elections, the completion of the Constitution, state-building, economic development, and the National Strategy (NTP).

“Somalia is going through a period of transition to a principled politics, and giving the Somali citizen the opportunity to be elected and make choices. This platform is a platform where no one is left behind, and all sectors of society have been involved. All those who wanted to take the lead are present.” said PM Hamsa.

“The challenges we face are not easy, and the task before us is not small. On one hand, we are facing an enemy that threatens our religion, our culture, our statehood, and our existence as a nation,” continued the PM.

Mr Hamse also added, “On the other hand, we are building a democratic government, with a complete constitution, and ensuring the unity and sovereignty of our country, therefore, “we fight our enemies hand in hand, and we build the nation with our hands.”
