More than a hundred members of the House of Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Somalia have described as illegal the decision announced today by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sheikh Aden Madoobe, that MP Abdullahi Xashi Abiib has lost his membership in the House.
These members have openly opposed this move, describing Speaker Aden Madoobe’s decision as inconsistent with the law and the rules of procedure of the Parliament.
MP Dr Abdullahi Hashi Abiib has published several reports on his website X, mostly containing heated accusations aimed at the Somali government and the Speaker of Parliament.
Emerging reports indicate that lawmakers are currently preparing a motion against the Speaker of the House of People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia.
