Members of the People’s Assembly elected from the South West State paid a courtesy visit to the new Somali Police Chief, General Asad Osman Diyano. The MPs congratulated and praying to God to shoulder the heavy responsibility ahead of him.
During this visit the MPs clearly showed their support and political friendship, promising to work with them to facilitate the important tasks facing the Somali Police and also noted the importance of strengthening security and order in the country, urging the commander to come with more efforts to achieve the goals expected of the Somali Police.
General Asad Osman Diyano thanked the MPs for their support and agreed to work together with all the different sectors of the government to ensure lasting security and continuous improvement.
