The Federal Government Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Ahmed Macallin Fiqi, said that the country is on the road to democracy, thanking the Parliament of the Federal Republic for today’s approval of the Independent Commission for National Elections and Borders.
“The country has taken the path of democracy and today it has closed its doors to the tyranny, slavery, kidnapping, fraud and foreign leaders. .” he posted on his Facebook post.
The Parliament of Somalia is grateful for the consistent steps they have taken in approving the three laws and the Independent Commission for National Elections and Borders which they approved today.
It has its burdens and pains when a familiar phase is transferred to a new one, but its goodness will be felt when the people directly elect their leaders and those who represent them in the parliamentary councils at different levels.
