About 100-member House of Representatives of the Somali Parliament has called on Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to resign, as the country is in a critical juncture and therefore the country’s governance needs to be saved.
“President Hassan is a prime minister, minister and director in his own right. He has failed the country, led to corruption and nepotism. He should resign.” Said Opposition MPs from the Somali government.
MP Abdirisaq, one of the opposition MPs who read a press release to the media, said that they will take serious steps against the Somali government, saying that the government has abolished the constitution and is failing to fulfill its mandate.
“President, resign and admit your failure, you will be the first leader to admit his failure,” the lawmakers said.
The lawmakers also called on the Speaker of the House of Peoples to stop breastfeeding the Somali government.
