The second deputy speaker of the People’s Assembly of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, Abdullahi Omar Abshirow, and a delegation led by him from both Houses of Parliament attended the opening of the 149th session of the IPU World Parliamentary Conference in Geneva, Switzerland.
This year’s conference, the use of science, technology and innovation (STI) will be discussed inorder to achieved a safe and sustainable future.
The second deputy chairman, who will deliver a speech at the meeting, will discuss the general situation in the country and the achievements of the government in the fight against terrorism.
