The 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, has officially opened today in in New York in the United States , which will last from September 22 to 27 closing on the 29th of this month.
This is annual session, the leaders of the UN member states are expected to discuss the biggest challenges facing the world.
Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mahamud is one of the leader participating where he will make a a speech to address the country situation.
The high-level event is expected to bring together numerous global leaders who will focus on pressing international issues, with a particular emphasis on climate change and its devastating impact worldwide. Discussions will center around finding collective solutions to mitigate climate-related challenges.
Also the leaders will discuss the situation in Gaza, international peace and security, the reform of UN institutions, poverty alleviation, and inclusive economic development.
President Hassan Sheikh during his visit in New York he will held a high-level discussions with some other leaders who participating in the United Nations conference about mutual interests, strengthening diplomatic relations and political, security and economic cooperation between Somalia and other countries.
