The Federal Government of Somalia issued a statement about a planned operation carried out in the Ceel Hareeri area of ​​Hiran region killed more than 40 Al-Shabaab members.

The statement issued by the Somali government and published by the SONNA news agency read as follows;

More than 40 leaders and militia members of the Al Shabab were killed in a specially planned operation carried out jointly by the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), the Somali National Army, and international partners, which took place in the Ceel hareeri area of ​​Hiran region.

The reports also confirms to eliminate some of the leaders who were responsible for different activities.

The leaders includes; Abu Anas the Leader of the Frontline Transport and Mohamed Ahmed (Xerow), a group leader of Al Shabab were some others were brutally injured.
