Former Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo, in a press release, warned against cheap propaganda by terrorists seeking to discredit the Somali Federal Government forces, and called on the public to stand with the forces to defeat terrorism.
“I urge the Somali people to be vigilant against the cheap propaganda that terrorists use to discredit our brave soldiers and to lie about the real situation in Somalia. The fact that the national army emerges from cities with great skill and tactics does not mean that it has been defeated, therefore, I call on the Somali people to stand by the national army through thick and thin, which can lead to the army’s victory over the enemy.”
“It is certain that while the army is being built, anti-peace groups can be defeated, as happened in the past from 2018 to 2020, when, while the army was being built, we were able to liberate many towns from terrorists, including Marka, Jannaalle, Ow-Dheegle, Bariirre, Sabiid and Canoole,” said former President Farmaajo in a press release.
He call on the leaders of the country, federal and regional government to give the first priority to the public interest, ensure political stability, strengthening unity, unity and forming constitution and united elections, which can reach the completion of the country’s government.
The Former President also encourage the international friends who are taking part in the recovery of the country, building the national army and the war against terrorists to strengthen their support and support the Somali people and the government.
