The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, today appear infront of the two Houses of the Somali Parliament today, requested that the leave of the Parliament be postponed for a period of one month so that the important tasks of the electoral process can be carried out.
After that, the members of both Houses approved by a majority vote the request of the President of the Federal Republic that the leave of the Parliament should be postponed for one month to work on the laws that guided the country in the election of people and votes.
The members of both Houses of the Federal Parliament of Somalia , whose leaves would have started on the 6th of this month but now it will continue until the beginning of December 2024.
