The Somali Federal Government President Hassan Shiekh Mohamud met with H.E. President Ismail Omar guelleh of the brotherly Republic of Djibouti at the Djibouti Presidential Palace.
The two leaders discussed close bilateral relations in key areas, including security and the fight against international terrorism, trade, and joint initiatives to enhance regional peace and prosperity.
The meeting also discussed humanitarian issues, particularly the drought crisis affecting parts of Somalia.
Both leaders exchanged views on the overall situation in the Horn of Africa, reaffirming the importance of close cooperation and regular dialogue to address the challenges in the region.
