Somalia Minister Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Ahmed Moallim Fiqi, on a phone call congratulated the new Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Djibouti, Ambassador Abdulkadir Hussein Omar.
A statement from the Somali Ministry of Foreign during the called stated , Minister Fiqi stressed the deepening of the historical brotherly and strong diplomatic relations between Somalia and Djibouti.
Also Minister Fiqi expressed his confidence in the leadership of the Djiboutian Minister in strengthening regional stability and promoting shared interests.
The two Ministers discussed the advancement of bilateral relations and cooperation in regional and international forums, and the promotion of strategic partnerships.
