Somalia Cabinet re-appoints Mahad Salad as NISA Commander.

Somalia Federal Government Cabinet today re-appointed Mahad Mohamed Salad as the Commander of the National Security and Intelligence Agency.

The cabinet has now approved the proposal of the Ministry of Security to appoint Commander Mahad Salad, who was the director in the year 2022-2023 later left to compete for the position of Galmudug President which he didn’t make it.

Mahad will replace his predecessor, Abdullahi Sanbaloolshe, who has reportedly been given another position by the government.
He was a former MP and former Director of NISA during the President’s re-election in 2022.

Mr Mahad is also is a veteran politician who has held various positions in the federal government. He is one of the influential members of Villa Somalia.

On the hand the cabinet thanked the former Director of the National Security and Intelligence Agency, Mr. Abdullahi Mohamed Ali, during his tenure, performed outstanding work for the nation.
