The President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to attend the United Nations Conference on World Food Security, which is attended by leaders from around the world and the region.
The President is expected to deliver a speech highlighting the Somali government’s position on the importance of peace and stability in the region, especially in strengthening Africa’s efforts to resolve conflicts within the continent.
Also the President will meet with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed to discuss relations between the two countries and the general situation in the region.
President Hassan who yesterday was in Djibouti where he discussed several issues with President Ismail Omar guelleh including humanitarian issues and situation in the Horn of Africa.
