Somalia members of the two Houses of the Parliament today approved the Government budget allocation for the year 2025 which is $1,359,714,328, and it was approved by 172 members, two members of parliament refused and one member remained silent.
This budget increase compared to the 2024 budget of $1,079,315,783, has increased by $263,160,528, which is an increase of 24.4% for the basis of the plan to strengthen security, social services and infrastructure development.
The budget will come into process after it will be signed by the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, and the official details of the government are released.
