The Chairman of the National Disaster Management Agency Mr. Mohamud Macallin Abdulle had a meeting with representatives of the United Nations led by the Deputy UN Envoy for Somalia, George Conway.
The meeting discussed the drought situation, the plan to respond to humanitarian needs in 2025 and the strengthening of cooperation between aid agencies and SoDMA.
The parties agreed to hold a general meeting to discuss how to respond to the needs of vulnerable people, by raising funds for the affected people.
The chairman of SoDMA urged the parties to strengthen efforts to help the poor and to cooperate with aid agencies.
