Warplanes carried out an airstrike last night on the strategic area of Tardo, located in the eastern Hiran region.
The Somali forces attacked several areas of the Al Shabab group, which was carrying out military operations in areas of the Hiran region, according to information provided by the officers leading the operation.
Also, reports indicate that a special airstrike was carried out on a house where Al-Shabaab militants were staying, in Hiran region was targeted and killed in the airstrike.
Hiran regional administration officials said the operation against ‘AS’ will continue until they recapture the areas they recently lost control of, as they have stated.
This news comes as military activities and operations against Al-Shabaab are still ongoing in the Hiran region.
