Reports from the town of Wardheer in the Somali regional government say that six young men killed in a mosque early this morning, all of whom were shot dead.
Local people sources indicate that the identities of the attackers remain unknown. However, bullets were used to kill the young men, leaving the community in shock and mourning. Five of the victims were from the same family, while the sixth was from a different family.
There are still no further details about the gunmen who committed the murder and they are said to have escaped, while the Somali regional government has not yet spoken.
In the last few years, the Somali land has been facing challenges related to tribalism and tribal wars, with the failure to do anything about it.
